Hi, I’m Robert.

I’m a pianist, a composer, a piano teacher, and a lifelong tinkerer with old watches.

Second Hand to the Right started at the kitchen table with my dad. We’d hunt down vintage watches, open them up, bring them back to life, and find them new homes. Then I built a little world for them to travel through, and The Land of Time was born.

The music in our videos is mine too: original piano, written and recorded for each build. Watches and music turn out to have a lot in common. Both are about rhythm, patience and tiny parts working together.

When I’m not tinkering with watches, I teach piano to students of all ages, in person and online. Learn about lessons

Thanks for coming along for the ride.
